Do you want to get creative and engage your learners with programming in 2Code?In this live lesson we will be planning, designing and coding a scene using Free Code Chimp which is part of Purple Mash’s 2Code block coding tool.This live lesson is aimed at children in years 2 – 4 who have already had some experience of coding using 2Code.This live lesson will explore:<ul><li>Exploring the main design features and code commands in Free Code Chimp.</li><li>Choosing a background scene and objects/characters for their scene.</li><li>Planning and coding a simple algorithm of events and actions for the objects chosen.</li><li>Adding instructions for players.</li><li>Saving and sharing their Free Code scene to a displayboard for other children to play their code scene.</li></ul>This lesson will be live and aimed at 7-9 year olds (Years 2-4). Each lesson is 60 minutes long.Bring as many pupils/students as you like to the session as long as they have access to a device.Can’t join live? Register and use the replay with your class instead .You’ll need:<ul><li>The ability to show the live stream on your big class screen</li><li>A device for each student to use - laptop / desktop / iPad with a working microphone</li><li>Purple Mash accounts for students</li></ul>If you would like to trial Purple Mash so that your class can attend this live lesson, please fill in the order form when booking your ticket.
