Schools don&#x27;t teach debugging because you can&#x27;t easily test debugging skills. We&#x27;re cast into the workforce with no knowledge and cursory acquaintance with the tools. ~25 years ago I was lucky. I was already an experienced developer, remarkably confident and sure of himself. Then I did a pair programming debugging session with a senior who exposed a brand new world to me. I was devastated by my ignorance in the art of debugging. This was an amazing gift that changed everything for me. In this session I hope to give you an equivalent gift.
