A fun, free flag making workshop at Walthamstow FC (the flags we design are going to get made and displayed in the ground)

One single flag couldn’t possibly capture the richness that exists in Walthamstow — so let’s make TONNES.Local Colours is a playful workshop that invites attendees to create their own unique flags for Walthamstow. Each will be a snapshot of the Stow and the pride we take in it. We’ll play with visual ingredients inspired by local culture, hidden histories, local wildlife and the rich graphic heritage of the area. The designs we make in the workshop will go on to be produced and displayed in the stands at the Walthamstow FC ground.It’s free and open to anyone from age of 7 and up. Younger kids may need a bit of help, in that case, sign yourself up too.We have ten places for this first workshop.
