About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Join us for an evening of information and discussion all about energy within homes and businesses and how we can better utilise locally generated renewable energy.

The event will begin with a drop-in session for community members to access information and support from various local energy support agencies and community organisations.

This will be followed by a workshop on local energy. Looking at local energy supply in the Outer Hebrides and models which could be adopted to use more locally generated energy on the islands and reduce householder and business bills.

Each event will run from 4pm to 7pm with the drop-in session first, followed by the workshop (both sections running for roughly an hour and a half).

Sweet and savory catering will be avaiable throughout the event with vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options avaiable.

Event Timings:

  • 4:00 - 5:30 - Drop in Session
  • 5.30 - 6:10 - Local Energy Workshop
  • 6:10 - 6:25 - Refreshment Break
  • 6:25 - 7:00 - Local Energy Workshop
