On the16th August we would like to invite you to join us at Wheal Kitty for evening of art and inspiration that has been designed to get people talking about mental health.Food &amp; Drink will be coming from Canteen and the portrait exhibition will be hosted at Open.Running order:7pm | Arrive - Grab a bite and a drink8pm | The stories behind the art - by Jon Mackenzie9pm | Community mingle10pm | It is all overLocal Hero is an evolution of Jon's previous work ‘Man Up’, a portrait series depicting men that epitomise masculine stereotypes.Local Hero is a project to raise awareness and challenge stigma around mental health and prevent suicide, with a focus on men in coastal communities.
