Event description

We want to shape Elmbridge for the benefit of all and we want you to help us. We have arranged a series of meetings for you so that we can talk to you about the Local Plan and explain the options we are consulting on.

We have 6 public meetings planned and although each has an area in mind, you can attend any meeting:

  • Tuesday 27 August, Weybridge

  • Wednesday 28 August, Walton-on-Thames and Hersham

  • Thursday 29 August, Molesey

  • Monday 2 September Cobham, Oxshott and Stoke D'Abernon

  • Tuesday 3 September, The Dittons and Hinchley Wood

  • Thursday 5 September, Esher and Claygate

This is an e-ticket only event, you must register to attend.

If you wish to submit a question for the event you will be attending, you may do so via our website.

The evenings will start with a presentation from us and then we will discuss the pre-submitted questions with you.

The consultation document is published on our website and a copy is also available to view in local libraries and at the Civic Centre in Esher. Please do review this document before submitting your question.

Meetings will start at 7pm and will end at 9pm. Please arrive promptly to reduce disturbances during the proceedings.

The meetings will be webcast live on the night, with a playback service available within 48 hours of the live event. Please be aware that members of the public may be filmed, especially if they participate during the meeting (e.g. posing questions to the panel).

Can I ask a question at the meeting?

We have designed the meetings so that we are providing information to you about the options and the Local Plan. We will answer the pre-submitted questions after the presentation.

Can I attend more than one meeting?

We request that you only register for one meeting. Duplicate bookings may be deleted. This will allow as many people as possible to attend. They will also be webcast live on the night, with a playback service available within 48 hours of the live event.

Will there be refreshments available?

There will be access to a water cooler in the Council Chamber and Committee Room. People are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles to help protect the environment.

Is parking available?

Parking after 6.30pm will be free at the Civic Centre car park on the relevant evenings. Please have your vehicle registration number to hand when your ticket is being checked.

Is the venue fully accessible?
