Framestore followed by DNeg and then ending up with Truckles for the evening 3D London

A full-day industry visit to London, including studio talks and tours at Framestore and DNEG, giving students insight into professional VFX and animation pipelines. The day also includes time to travel through central London, informal sightseeing, and an evening visit to 3D London for talks and networking, before returning by coach.

London Industry Trip — Wednesday 04 March 2026

07:00 – Depart East Park Terrace
Coach departure to London. Please arrive early for registration and luggage loading.

10:30 – Framestore (90 mins | 30 students)
Studio visit including a talk and discussion with industry artists, giving students insight into professional VFX and animation pipelines and the breadth of work produced at Framestore.

12:00 – Travel to DNEG
Approx. 45-minute walk or 25-minute tube journey. Students should wear comfortable footwear, keep personal belongings secure, and remain with the group.

13:15 – DNEG (90 mins | 30 students)
A studio visit including a talk and discussion with industry artists, offering insight into professional VFX pipelines and the range of work produced at DNEG.

15:00 – Sightseeing / Dinner
Free time in central London for sightseeing and an evening meal (students to self-cater).

19:00 – 3D London at Truckles
Attendance at a 3D London event, featuring industry talks and informal networking in a professional but relaxed setting - also - Year 3 Presentations! :)

22:00 – Coach Return
Coach departs London for return journey home.
