What You’ll Learn
This workshop combines neuroscience, trauma psychology, somatic healing tools, and practical reflection work to help you understand and support Complex PTSD recovery.
You will learn:
- The difference between PTSD vs Complex PTSD (and why it matters)
- How long-term trauma reshapes the brain’s threat system
(amygdala, hippocampus, prefrontal cortex) - Why emotional flashbacks happen — and how to respond to them safely
- The biology behind hypervigilance, shutdown, dissociation, numbness and shame
- How stress chemistry (cortisol, adrenaline, dopamine, oxytocin) affects symptoms
- A light and accessible survival-state lens (fight/flight/freeze/shutdown) to support self-awareness
- How healing happens in the right sequence, not through pressure
The A.S.I.E.C.C.™ Framework for Healing
You’ll be guided through the A.S.I.E.C.C.™ Framework — a structured, trauma-informed pathway for long-term recovery:
This framework helps survivors and professionals understand what recovery actually requires — and why “just move on” never works.
Somatic Tools & Guided Practices (Included)
