About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

The IStructE London Young Members Group are pleased to announce an online technical talk on Understanding Structures Intuitively. Mark Moppett, Senior Expert Witness, will present his approach to understanding structures intuitively. The aim of this event is to help young engineers develop a clear understanding of the structural behaviour of simple structures for bending, shear and deflection. This presentation will cover fundamental concepts using basic beam structures, with the potential to extend to more complex systems.

This session will support preparation for the GIStructE exam and provide a broader understanding of structural principles that can be applied to everyday engineering problems

Speaker
