What happens if I am due to work during the time of the long service breakfast events?

Accepted Answer

You will need to be released to attend these. We are not expecting you to book annual leave and should not be asked to attend in your own time. Managers will need to arrange cover as necessary for these shifts. You should be provided with sufficient time to travel to and from the venue.

How long will I be away from work?

Accepted Answer

Long service breakfast starts at 8am and is expected to finish around 10am. To allow for travel time etc colleagues are expected to away from work for approximately 3-4 hours and therefore managers should arrange appropriate cover to account for this.

Question 3

Is there a dress code for the breakfast events?

Accepted Answer

There is no dress code, these are simply intended to be opportunities to thank colleagues for their contribution.

Are plus ones invited?

Accepted Answer

We want to focus on bringing colleagues together for these celebrations, therefore plus ones are not invited.
