Low-Code in the Public Sector: Knowsley's Experience

What is this event about?

Public service organisations are moving rapidly to digitising services. Low-code offers the local public sector the option to roll out digital government without the need for the same level of technical capability that is traditionally needed. In this session find out what Low-Code is, and hear Knowlsey Council’s account of their experience of building their digital offering using Low-Code. You will have the opportunity to ask Knowlsey Council, and Mendix (their Low-code provider) questions about the Knowsley experience, and to also discuss any aspect of how other organisations are (and could be) using Low-code to deliver public services.

What's on the agenda?

Mark Perry, is IT Exploitation Manager at Knowsley Council. Mark will be sharing Knowsley's digital journey into the use of Low-code.

Shelley Heckman, iNetwork will chair the meeting and facilitate roundtable discussions to provide an opportunity for all delegates to share their experiences of Low-code and to understand what other people's views are on using this platform for their services.

Who Should Attend?

Any public sector practitioner interested in digital transformation, digital delivery and app development.
