Lower Back Strength & Support Class

Lower Back Strength & Support Class

OMUKLondon, England
Multiple dates
Overview

2-hour lower back strength class to reduce tension and build resilient core support. King’s Cross, London. First session free for newcomers.

Lower Back Strength & Support

  • Lower back discomfort is often a sign that deeper support is under-active.
  • Most people respond by stretching more or “trying to strengthen the core.”
  • This class restores reflexive core support — the body’s automatic stabilising system — so the lower back doesn’t have to brace.

When deeper support improves:

  • Local tension reduces
  • Sitting and standing feel steadier
  • Hips and lower back share load more efficiently
  • Flare-ups become less frequent
  • Movement feels safer and more supported

Clear, repeatable shifts.

  • It’s common for participants to experience a noticeable reduction in hip and lower back tension during the session — often between one-third and two-thirds. And this reduction builds, class after class.
  • Not everyone responds immediately.
  • But when deeper support switches on, change can be surprisingly clear.
  • We don’t chase pain.
  • We restore the support that allows it to settle.

Who is this for?

  • Ongoing lower back stiffness
  • Recurrent flare-ups
  • Postural fatigue
  • Core weakness after inactivity
  • Movers wanting stronger deep support through the hips and trunk
  • No flexibility or prior experience required.

What happens in class?

  • Brief check-in to sense current organisation
  • Precise floor-based exercises using supportive props
  • Precise activation of deep stabilisers
  • Integration into upright posture and walking
