what is quiet strength?


where do you fit in this universal story?


🟢 as young children, most of us start with *quiet strength*:

easy, supported, effortless posture, abundant energy


🟩 as we age, things start to shift:

stiffness, things feel a bit “off”, slower recovery

tension, bracing, holding on, needing to push through

workarounds, asymmetry, overuse, less freedom in movement

during the workshop we will run a quiet strength training cycle, of powerful, precisely sequenced exercises, to reverse direction in every stage in this pattern:


first we unwind the system:

  • depth is a choice.



what to bring

  • please bring 2 generously sized bath towels — these are needed for the session, as we’ll use them to create fine-tuned, adjustable support for your lower back.
  • a yoga mat is helpful if you have one, but not essential.
  • all other props are provided.
