Perfect for beginners, this hands-on course teaches you the essential skills of glass working. Guided by expert instructors, you will gain confidence in this stunning timeless craft while bringing your designs to life and experiencing how to turn your creative passion into profit.

Wk1- Glass handling. Practical introduction to glass cutting, including appropriate health and safety requirements.

Wk2- Designing and cutline. Introduction to 'Tiffany' glass process and origins. Consideration of possibilities and restrictions pertinent to working with glass.

Wk3- Glass types and cutting. Choosing glass and learning how to cut to a cutline to accommodate the 'Tiffany' style.

Wk4- Grinding and foiling. Practical experience in the use of glass grinders and knowledge of appropriate 'copper-foil' types for use with different colours and glass thicknesses.

Wk5- Soldering. Demo and practical session in safe soldering and building of glass pieces together.

Wk6- Finishing Skills. Guided development of 'patina' choices and hanging considerations, appropriate for the sale of glass artefacts.

Wk7- Fusing. A practical introduction to materials, process, kiln use and health and safety considerations.

Wk8- Slumping and Frit Processes. Creating imagery through kiln techniques onto glass.

Wk9- Glass line paints & design. Demonstration and practical experience.

Wk10- Inclusions. Demonstration and practical experience.

Wk11- Framing and Presentation Research. Guided consideration and development of design ideas into glass artefacts appropriate for sale.

Wk12- Culmination of project. Final firings scheduled, accompanied by accrued coursework, including research, design development, annotation and glass samples.

Wythnos2- Dylunio a thorri mewn llinell. Cyflwyniad i broses a tharddiad gwydr 'Tiffany'. Ystyried y posibiliadau a'r cyfyngiadau perthnasol o weithio â gwydr.

Wythnos3- Mathau o wydr a thorri. Dewis gwydr a dysgu sut i dorri mewn llinell i addasu'r steil 'Tiffany'.

Wythnos4- Melino a ffoilio. Profiad ymarferol o ddefnyddio malwr gwydr a meddu ar wybodaeth o fathau priodol o 'ffoil copr' i'w defnyddio â lliwiau a thrwch gwydr gwahanol.

Wythnos5- Sodro. Arddangos a sesiwn ymarferol mewn sodro diogel ac adeiladu darnau o wydr at ei gilydd.

Wythnos6- Sgiliau Gorffen. Datblygu dewisiadau 'patina' ac ystyriaethau hongian, sy'n briodol ar gyfer gwerthu arteffactau gwydr, drwy dywys.

Wythnos7- Ymdoddi. Cyflwyniad ymarferol i ddeunyddiau, proses, defnyddio odyn ac ystyriaethau iechyd a diogelwch.

Wythnos8- Prosesau Llithro a Ffrit. Creu delweddaeth drwy dechnegau odyn ar wydr.

Wythnos9- Paent 'glassline' a dylunio. Arddangos a phrofiad ymarferol.

Wythnos10- Cynhwysiant. Arddangos a phrofiad ymarferol.

Wythnos11- Fframio a Chyflwyniad Ymchwil. Ystyried a datblygu syniadau o ddyluniadau i arteffactau gwydr sy'n briodol i'w gwerthu.

Wythnos12- Diwedd y prosiect. Trefniadau ar gyfer y prosesau tanio olaf, ar y cyd â chronni gwaith cwrs, gan gynnwys ymchwil, datblygu dyluniadau, annodi a samplau gwydr.
