About this event
Lunar Gatherings - A ceremony to connect, feel, and release
Join us for an evening of connecting with the moon's energy and each other at OMUK.
With a mindfulness-based approach, we will engage in practices that cultivate presence, awareness, connection, and clarity. Through this process, we’ll become conscious of what we carry that no longer serves us and release it. Creating space for new, supportive ways of thinking, behaving, and acting. We do this, supported by the energy of the Full Moon and its symbolism: revelation and emergence.
This workshop is for you if you:
- Seek a space to slow down from the constant demands of life, cultivate presence and awareness, and deepen your connection with yourself - while being supported by like-minded people.
- You want to let go of old patterns, behaviours, narratives, and ways of thinking that are not aligned with the version of yourself that you want to become.
- Appreciate the opportunity to share experiences, challenges, and emotions in a safe space, where you give and receive support from the group.
- Wish to work with your emotions and shadows in a healthy way - learning from them rather than resisting them.
- Struggle with thoughts, feelings, and sensations that arise around the Full Moon and want to discover ways to navigate them.
Please note that no specific beliefs - whether in energy, astrology, or otherwise - are required to participate in and benefit from this workshop. The Full Moon can simply serve as a cyclical reminder to pause, reflect, and bring to light what we’re carrying that is working against us, allowing it to be processed and released.

Rodrigo G S Maciel
Combining a deep interest in holistic well-being with the need to make significant changes in my life to overcome periods of depression, chronic anxiety, and panic attacks, I have explored many tools and practices, including mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, movement therapies (such as dance, yoga, and Qi Gong), counselling, and more. As a result, I have cultivated a more fulfilling life that aligns with my core values.
Supported by a Mindfulness Facilitator teacher training and a post-graduate course in Mindfulness and Integrative Therapies, I’ve been sharing the lessons gained from my healing journey to support others on their own paths. My work focuses on helping individuals develop emotional intelligence and resilience, shift from a fear-based mindset to a trust-based one, move from overthinking into presence and feeling, practice self-love, and connect with their inner wisdom.

Further Info:
The Moon has a direct relationship with water, and with our bodies being about 70% water, it’s no surprise that we may feel its influence. When the Moon reaches its full phase, the nights become brighter, illuminating both the world around us and what lies within.
During this time, it's common to experience heightened emotions - energies in motion - due to energies moving to the surface that typically remain hidden in our bodies and minds. This offers us a powerful opportunity to recognise what we’ve been carrying without realising it.
With the right approach, we can allow these emotions to move through us rather than attempting to suppress or numb them. "What you resist, persists. What you accept, transforms". By embracing this process, we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and release what no longer serves us.
