Luton Little Bugs
Overview
Come and join us for a fun morning of exploration and discovery within the enclosed area of Wardown Park's arboretum, right next to the museum's car park.
This group is for pre-school children (aged 3–5 years old) and focuses on outdoor play, exploration, and discovery. Sessions take place fortnightly on Thursday mornings and aim to build confidence in outdoor environments for both children and their guardians, while encouraging a connection with local green spaces.
Each session introduces a nature-inspired theme, exploring a variety of topics such as animals, habitats, simple bushcraft skills, and more. Enjoy nature-based crafts, story time, and plenty of outdoor play in this beautiful setting.
All of our sessions take place outdoors, with no indoor space available. Please come dressed in suitable clothing and footwear for the weather. A drink and snack will be provided, and families are very welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy after the session.
Thanks to generous funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund, we are able to offer subsidised pricing of £3.50 per child (+eventbrite fee).
Please note that bookings close 24 hours before the event, and a minimum of four paying children is required for the session to run. If we are unable to run the session, all booking fees will be fully refunded. Sessions may also be cancelled in cases of extreme weather, such as heavy rain or high winds. In this instance, you will be informed by email.
If you have any inquiries regarding the sessions please e-mail ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org.
