Lyrical Landscapes

You are invited to an evening hosted by established artists. Tim Rose, paints in a variety of locations. Some of his most explored themes are grand architectural spaces which he fills with light and atmosphere. John Birtwhistle is a lyric poet and librettist, whose ideas often work through visual imagery as much as wit. Cath Dunn is a painter and printmaker whose work explores rhythms and colour, often inspired by natural forms. The artists will put us in touch with what it is to make, will discuss themes around the artistic process, and will open up the conversation to all.

There will be an accompanying display of art at the café throughout September and October, and a bar available on the evening of the event.
