We are delighted to confirm that our end of season "Presentation Evening" will again be held at Wilmslow Rugby Club...Friday 25th March, 7.30pm prompt.

The venue has a large parking area.

Choose on the night from Chicken Curry/ Hot Pot or a veggie option.

This year we have a guest speaker...Clifton Bradeley.

Clifton was also the Senior Boys X-Country champion, won the AAA Youths 1500m and 3000m, and was 20th in the World X-Country Championships in 1983, also running in in three World Championships and medaling in two.

He broke the British record for the indoor mile (England V USA 1985, a 3.57.88min/sec) to become the first British athlete to run a sub-4-minute mile on an English indoor running track. Did this at 20 years of age. Still the third faster ever Brit. One-week later his career was finished with a sports injury.

At one stage he had a series of 32 unbeaten wins in races, which was broken when finishing 3rd in the National X-country.

This is an important date in our year...Its a delight to see all of our juniors collecting their awards in style. We do hope that as many Seniors will also attend...Your chance to similarly get the recognition that you deserve.
