I’ve never attended anything like this before. Is this suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. Whether you’re completely new to workshops or day retreats, you’re very welcome. All you need is an open mind. We’ll be there throughout to support you and help you get the most out of your experience.

Will food be available at the event?

Accepted Answer

No food will be served inside the Self Retreat studio, but Camden Town offers a wide variety of wonderful cafés and restaurants just a short walk away.
Special for attendees: We’re excited to partner with Mildred’s in Camden with an exclusive offer for the day, details shared after booking.

Question 3

Can I park nearby if I’m driving?

Accepted Answer

We recommend using public transport, as parking in Camden can be limited. Camden Town tube station (Northern Line) is about 10 minutes away on foot, and there are also several buses and the North London Line Overground within walking distance.

Are there any restrictions that may prevent me from attending?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please note that the Self Retreat Studio is accessed via a set of steps after you enter the main door. If you have questions about accessibility or the nature of the sessions, you can email the individual facilitators; contact details are listed under the “Agenda” section.

Question 5

Can I stay for longer if I only book the morning and decide I want to continue?

If spaces are still available, yes! You’re welcome to stay on, but you’ll need to purchase an afternoon ticket at the standard price of £60.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Accepted Answer

The studio is well-equipped with yoga mats, blankets, and props. If there’s anything specific you like to use for your comfort, such as extra layers, a water bottle, or other personal items, such as a notebook to write in, please do bring them along. We’ll provide a small amount of paper and pens.

Will drinks be provided?

We’ll have plenty of water available at the venue. If you’d like tea, coffee, or other drinks, there are many nearby cafés where you can grab something during the breaks.

Yes. This event welcomes people of all genders, backgrounds, and levels of experience. We’re committed to creating a warm, inclusive environment.

Can I come alone? Will I feel out of place?

You’re more than welcome to come solo! The space is designed to be welcoming and friendly, whether you come with a friend or on your own.
