Are you exasperated with the way Britain is run? We’ve waited 14 years to get the Conservatives out of government, only to find their replacements continue with austerity and the jobs-for-the-boys behaviour.We need a new movement – so we’re starting one. It’s not a political party, but an organisation to train and support campaigners and candidates who want to stand as part of a progressive alliance.High standards of integrity, and following evidence-based policies will be at its core.We will stand and support candidates under different banners, selected by local members, with the manifestos developed by talking to local communities.It’s called Majority. There’ll be a focus on participation, political education, training, and a supportive culture. The inaugural conference is on Saturday 28th September. It’s free, it’ll be fun, and there’s biscuits!
