Level 4 Makaton Workshop, teaching stages 7 &amp; 8 of the Core Vocabulary signs &amp; symbols. You will learn a further103 signs &amp; symbols from stages 7 &amp; 8.Level 4 Workshop is the next step of your Makaton journey after completing Level 3.It is recommended for people who need to use Makaton at home and in their work, to develop the communication skills of others.Level 4 training is an advanced level of Makaton training and will help you to improve and develop your signing and symbol skills and how to use them effectively every day. Level 4 completes the Makaton workshop series.Level 4 training provides a practical learning session on how to apply the Makaton Communication Programme. The Level 4 Workshop will start with a refresher on the signs previously taught in Levels 1, 2 &amp; 3 building on topics such as; feelings &amp; interests. New Signs &amp; Symbols from stages 7 &amp; 8 will also be introduced, which are ideal to develop life skills; money, quantities, numbers and time.Online workshops are delivered in real time in a virtual meeting room via Zoom - You will receive the Zoom link for the workshop via an email from signingtogethermakatontutor@gmail.com after booking and full payment has been received. Please look out for this email (also check your junk folder) as it contains important information ahead of the workshop.Online workshops comprise of approximately seven learning hours, dependant on group size and any previous knowledge or experience.The entry criteria for this Workshop is previous completion of Levels 1, 2 &amp; 3 (You will be asked to send a photo of your Level 3 certificate via email). Participants must be over 16 years of age. Please raise at time of booking if you have any challenges or additional needs, so reasonable adjustments can be made to support your learning &amp; participation.You will receive a Participant's Manual, which includes the Makaton symbols and signs that you learn in the workshop. Please note that bookings close two full weeks prior to the workshop date to allow ample time for your participant manual to arrive, through the post to the shipping address provided at the time of booking. Please ensure you have your Participants Manual when attending the workshop, as you will be unable to proceed through the workshop without the manual.You will also be given a certificate upon completion of the workshop. Please remember to keep your Level 4 training certificate in case you want to attend further Makaton training.
