HELIX offers high- and low-tech prototyping capabilities. These courses, workshops and inductions will enable innovators to give form and structure to their ideas. Some of our makerspace technologies require you to attend an induction session.

Ever wanted to make your own scrunchie? In this workshop you'll learn how to use the sewing machines in the Makerspace to make a scrunchie of your own design. We'll guide you through cutting your fabric, sewing it into a tube and attaching the elastic.We will provide the elastic and fabric that you need to make your scrunchie.We'll meet in the HELIX enterprise area, next to our staff office.
