Craft your own unique silver ring from scratch in this 4-hour workshop - no experience necessary!

About this Workshop:

In this workshop you will learn the basic skills needed to create a silver ring, using a range of tools and techniques. You can choose from various styles of rings or make up to 3 delicate stacking rings.

Once you have made a booking, you will receive a follow-up email before the workshop takes place to confirm the style of ring you would like to make. This helps to source the correct materials and tailor the session to you.


These workshops are for ages 18+ and take place in small, shared groups of up to four people. A minimum booking of two participants is required. If the minimum numnber is not met for your selected date, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund provided. Confirmation will be sent at least one week before the event to confirm whether the workshop will go ahead.


All workshops include the materials, along with a selection of hot and cold drinks and biscuits. There will also be a 30-minute break, during which you can visit the on-site Coffee Shop at The Art House to purchase food and drinks. More information, including the menu can be viewed here.

(Please note: the coffee shop closes at 4pm and is closed on Sundays, but you’re welcome to bring food and drinks.)


To celebrate the launch of these workshops the first four sessions taking place on Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd, Thursday 26th and Saturday 28th February are available at a special rate of £60 pp. (Usually £75 pp)

Location:
The front entrance for the studio faces onto Drury Lane. There are multiple car parks in the area; the closest is the York House Hotel directly opposite the studio entrance. To pay for parking there, please go to the hotel reception and speak to a member of staff.

The building is located a two-minute walk from Wakefield Westgate Train Station.

About the space:

The workshop will take place in Will’s private studio at The Art House Wakefield. The building and studio are wheelchair accessible - with facilities all located on one level.

Practical Information:
For your safety, please wear comfortable clothing, covered shoes. Anyone with hair past shoulder length will be required to tie their hair back whilst using equipment.

You will be guided through the whole process of making your jewellery and operating equipment safely. No prior experience is required, as this workshop will give you the basic skills needed to create jewellery in metal.
