Make a Toolbox

Ready to get your hands dirty and build some cool stuff? Join us for a fun workshop at Make a Toolbox!

You will create your own toolbox to take home. The class is suitable for beginners and upwards.

The toolbox is constructed out of solid timber with a sturdy plywood bottom.

Learn

• New construction techniques using the Router Table, the Mitre Saw, the Bandsaw, the Drill Press and Hand planes.

• How to use hand and power tools safely.

A practical project using a multitude of different power tools producing a hardwearing tool box that will last a lifetime.

General information for your visit.

Please wear clothes suitable for dusty work and sensible shoes. Tea and coffee is provided .

Please wear warm clothes in the winter. The workshop can feel very cold due to the concrete floors in the building.

If you have some of your own tools and would like to learn how to use them properly, then you are welcome to bring them and use them on the course. We have a fully equipped workshop so there is no need to bring anything, but some students like to bring their own.
