HELIX offers high- and low-tech prototyping capabilities. These courses, workshops and inductions will enable innovators to give form and structure to their ideas. Some of our makerspace technologies require you to attend an induction session.

In this session you’ll learn how to use <a href="https://make.bitsy.org/" title="https://make.bitsy.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">bitsy</a> to create a pixel art videogame without any code. Bitsy is a game making tool that allows you to build small worlds that players can explore, interacting with the people and objects within. It has tools to create pixel art, music, simple puzzles and dialogue chains. We ask that participants bring their own laptops if able.
