Surrey Hills Arts presents: A workshop with sculptor Will Nash

14th May 2022. 2 hour nature sculpture workshop. Choice of 2 times. Work with Will Nash at Zero to make your own eco friendly Habitable Sculpture from Willow!Willow is a fast growing and sustainable material, making it a great material for country crafts. The Willow Nest Balls can be set up outside to make a tempting nest site for your garden birds, or displayed inside as sustainable artwork.The workshop will include a short introduction by Will, showing his striking local large scale Habitable sculptures in Shalford, Godalming and Horsham - some of which you can see in the images below, including the Optohedron near Newlands Corner, and the Swift Tower in Shalford.Suitable for adults and families, children will need to be helped by parents or guardians.
