Get ready for Oldham's Illuminate Festival on 21st February by making something that truly stands out! In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll use glowing EL wire to decorate and customise your own clothing.

You’ll learn how EL wire works, how to shape it into cool designs, and how to safely attach it to fabric. With help from the workshop leader, you can create patterns, words, or simple pictures that light up when switched on.

No experience is needed. Just bring a piece of clothing you’d like to customise and your creativity. By the end of the session, you’ll go home wearing a bright, one-of-a-kind piece that’s ready to shine at the festival.

Please note that safety pins will be used during this workshop, so children under 10 years old will need adult supervision.
