Do you have an idea for a project that will improve the local community and make difference to local people? Would you like to hear about some of the amazing things local people would love to do?

Then come and to our ‘Make it Happen’ event on Saturday 18th November 2023, 10am – 2pm at Wellington Road Community Centre, 27 Wellington Road, Dudley, DY1 1UB.

Dudley Council cares about its communities; we know that you do too and we want to work with you to make things even better!

We know that people all across the borough are making amazing things happen in the places they live, study or work. We want to bring together people with awesome ideas that want to improve the places they live in, with people who can help make these things happen by sharing time, spaces, knowledge, resources or funding.

Come along if you :

have an idea that you would like to share/ gain some support for in Dudley
have already started something but would like to develop and grow it
have skills, knowledge, resources, time, connections, spaces or other gifts to share with others
just want to be inspired by the amazing things which are happening in the local community

The day will consist of:

an introduction to 'Make It Happen'
sharing of ideas
connecting and supporting
helping to decide how small pots of funding are allocated to help make things happen
