Overview

1984 tasting with Dave Broom & Ryan Chetiyawardana

RAFFLE TICKET £30 for a chance to win a place at:

A tasting held by Mr Lyan & globally-esteemed spirits writer Dave Broom on 30th January, featuring 14 rare liquids – from ghost Scotch whiskies, hidden gems, Cognacs, and a fine wine reception – with ALL proceeds going to support CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) in memory of our friend Bari.

The tasting will be hosted by Dave and Ryan and feature insights into these fascinating liquids. These are stocks worth several thousands, and you will be given a sample of each of the 14 bottles, with a fun and insightful discussion into the time period that gave birth to these liquids, and the mirrored conditions we find ourselves in now! All the liquids were distilled or bottled in 1984.

The darker months can be a very trying time for people, and CALM are an amazing resource in helping people – suicide is the biggest killer of young men, and every donation helps support in these very difficult moments.

IMPORTANT: Each donation of £30 enters you into a raffle for one of the 8 spaces left available for the tasting. Multiple entries are permitted.

The tasting taking part 6.30pm-9.00pm on Friday 30th January at Mr Lyan Studio, 153 - 155 Hoxton Street, London, N1 6PJ.

Over 21s only.

'Buy it now' space is available for £200 per ticket - please email phoebe@mrlyan.com to enquire.
