What To Expect

Join us for a relaxed, fun session at Modern Art Oxford for children and their grown-ups to explore, experiment and get a little messy together.

Our Studio offers a changing selection of sensory and creative activities inspired by our exhibitions. These might include mixing colourful ‘potions’ with petals and herbs, building with sand and clay, making marbled prints, or exploring light, shadow and different materials.

Each Make Play has a morning session (11am-12pm) and afternoon session (1pm-2pm).

Ticketing Information

We're offering these tickets on a pay-what-you-can basis (£4.50 / £6.50 / £8.50), with higher-price options helping to support Modern Art Oxford as a charity and keep events like this accessible to more people.

Booking is essential, and one ticket admits one child (aged 6 months - 5 years) and one parent/carer. To help us manage capacity and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone, one adult attending with more than one child will need to book a ticket for each child.
