Make, Share, Create: Sickle Cell Art Workshops

Looking for a welcoming space to create and connect this summer?
Join our community led creative workshops for people living with Sickle Cell Disorder—a relaxed, supportive space to explore creativity, build confidence, and meet others, whether you’re experienced or just curious to try something new.
While family and friends, these art workshops are primarily designed for people living with sickle cell to create, connect, and enjoy a supportive space together. To help us maintain this environment, we kindly ask that bookings include no more than one additional family member or friend as a plus one (max. 2 tickets per booking).
Who is this for?
• People aged 15 and above who live with Sickle Cell Disorder (including those who’ve had a transplant or other life enhancing therapy)

• A family member or friend as a plus one

• 27 June – Creative Wellness Workshop Paint & Stencil Art
• 4 July – Colours of the Earth – Pigment to Paint’ DIY Make & Use Your Own Paint
• 18 July – The Ancestral Spine: Intro to Coil Pottery
• 25 July – In the Age of Everything. How do we Create from Nothing? Zines and Collage
• 1 August - Final showcase & celebration
Places are limited to 15 per workshop, so book early to avoid disappointment. A waiting list will be available for sold out sessions.

Good to Know
The Bay20 Centre has ground floor accessible toilets, including a disabled toilet.
The workshops will be hosted in the Café in the ground floor however there is a wheelchair lift in the building to access the First Floor should the need arise.
