Would you like a stronger online network? Then join Liz Hardwick, co-founder of digital training and online traffic building company, DigiEnable for top tips on how to use online tools to boost your professional development. Liz's seminar will run twice during the afternoon.

Want to equip yourself with essential information on employment rights? Let Tony Lennon, BECTU’s Freelance and Research Officer, take you on a whistlestop tour of employment basics, including contracts, tax, employment status, and your rights at work. Tony’s our in-house boffin and we’ve never seen him stumped by any topic yet! Tony's seminar will run twice during the afternoon.

11am Event opens – The Curve space is where you can browse the stands, chat to our guests, book your Career Clinic 1-1s, do a bit of networking and grab a coffee. You can also boost your visit by selecting one, or more, of the available sessions set out below.

1pm – 2pm Young Professionals’ Survival Guide Tony Lennon, Freelance and Research Officer at BECTU takes you on a whistlestop tour of all things employment-related - including contracts, tax, employment status, and your rights at work.

2.15pm – 2.45pm Skill Up – How to Find Support in The North A short panel discussion with Creative England, Creative Skillset and Northern Film & Media chaired by BECTU’s Training Officer Kate Elliott.
