Overview

Create carnival pieces using sustainable materials. A calm, mindful session to connect with yourself and others, be in the moment

Make Your Mark: Carnival Eyepiece Workshop

Did you know that making art together can shift your mood, help you feel more connected and even support your brain’s flexibility and growth?

These sessions offer a calm, mindful space to slow down, focus and create with intention. A chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend time making with your hands.

Open to all ages, this space welcomes anyone looking to reconnect with themselves through creativity. You are never too old to make a change in your life, your wellbeing or the way you see yourself.

This is also part of a sustainable carnival project, using repurposed materials to create pieces that will live beyond the session and become part of something meaningful.

Join us as we create carnival eyepieces that will come together as part of a larger costume inspired by the glare of envy, exploring emotion, perception and transformation.

All pieces you make will become part of something bigger. You will see your work added into the final costume, becoming part of a shared artwork and collective story for Notting Hill Carnival.

This is a relaxed drop in session, but best suited to those with an interest in art, design or thoughtful making.

Free to attend

Contributions welcome for refreshments
