Plus, get ready to exercise your creativity by designing your own rhyming games to share and enjoy with others.

During this interactive workshop, we will introduce you to a variety of traditional North East street games that have been enjoyed for generations. From skipping rope rhymes to ball games and more, you'll have the opportunity to play and experience these timeless favorites firsthand. Rediscover the simple pleasure of outdoor play and connect with others through these engaging activities.

In addition to playing street games, we'll provide materials and guidance for you to create your own rhyming games. Draw inspiration from the traditional rhymes and games we explore, or let your imagination run wild as you invent new rhyming games to share with friends and family. Design game rules, rhymes, and challenges that add a touch of your own personality and creativity.
