Makeup Masterclass with MAC

Friends of the Cancer Centre is dedicated to making a real and meaningful difference to cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland.The charity is here to enhance the quality of patient care and support through our life-changing and life-saving work.We do this by funding additional nurses, supporting local research and providing practical support, such as ourfinancial grants, which can make a really difficult time a little easier.Friends of the Cancer Centre relies entirely on the generosity of the local community.All money donated stays in Northern Ireland, directly benefitting patients and their families.

Friends of the Cancer Centre is delighted to partner with MAC at Victoria Square for an exclusive makeup masterclass event for those currently undergoing cancer treatment. 
 
On Thursday, 8th August the team from MAC will join us at the Cancer Centre to demonstrate useful techniques to manage some of the visible side-effects of cancer treatment, including loss of eyebrows and eyelashes.  It will also be a great opportunity to meet and chat with other people in a similar situation as you learn some top tips from professional makeup artists. 
 
The evening will start at 6pm on level 1 of the Cancer Centre with some light refreshments before the masterclass kicks off at 6.30pm. The 2 hour masterclass will cover all you need to achieve a natural beauty look tailored to suit some of the specific needs of people going through treatment.  The night will cover:

Skin care with a focus on sensitive or irritated skin

Foundation, powders, blush and lips
</LI>
<LI>
A simple eye look tailored to people who may have lost their eyelashes through treatment 
</LI>
<LI>
The perfect brow with a demonstration on how you can create a natural look if you have lost your brows 
</LI>
<LI>
There will also be a Q &amp; A with the team and opportunity to have a skin and brow demos with an artist
</LI>

Important information
*Due to the limited numbers available in this session and the tailored nature of the masterclass, the event is most suited to those currently undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.  We hope to organise more masterclasses in the future. 
*Limited to a maximum of 2 tickets per person.  If you are unable to attend please let us know in advance as we will be able to offer your tickets to someone else.
