A workshop for expectant parents to discuss what may help them to take care of themselves and their baby in the first few weeks after birth.

This session provides an opportunity for expectant parents to:<ul><li>Identify the needs of new babies and their parents.</li><li>Imagine how they would like their home to feel in the first few weeks after the birth of their baby or babies.</li><li>Think about what kind of support their family might need after their baby is born.</li><li>Consider what they might be able to do now to make adjusting to life with their newborn baby easier.</li></ul>Joanna Brett is an NCT-trained Breastfeeding Counsellor and a Mentored Postnatal Doula registered with Doula UK. She has supported hundreds of new and expectant parents with feeding their babies and toddlers as well as with related issues such as sleep and physical and mental health.
