'Making Inclusive Decisions' (Module 2)

This workshop is for DCHS employees only.

DCHS&#x27; vision is ‘to be the best provider of local healthcare and a great place to work’ and is therefore committed to ensuring that its services, workforce and employment opportunities are inclusive and accessible. It also recognises that the disadvantages suffered by people due to their protected characteristics can be removed or minimised through inclusive decision-making.Starting at the very beginning, and assuming little or no prior Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) experience or knowledge, this programme intends to take colleagues through the key steps of making inclusive and evidence-based decisions using EIA.Module 2 is practice learning, i.e., putting the learning from Module 1 into practice to develop practical skills to undertake EIA.Module 1 is knowledge-based and will lay the foundation required for Module 2.To complete the programme, colleagues need to attend both modules.
