HSR UK is delighted to host this event to mark the launch of Making Research Matter - Steps to impact for health and care researchers.

The Evidence Quarter

Join us at the <a href="https://www.whatworksnetwork.org.uk/the-evidence-quarter/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Evidence Quarter</a> to hear from Tara Lamont (NIHR, and HSR UK Trustee), author of Making Research Matter, and a fantastic panel of guests on communicating health and care research to different audiences.Drawing on content from the book and panellists&#x27; experience in fields from journalism to health and care practice, we will discuss how to reach different audiences with an interest in research (practitioners, public and policymakers) and how to achieve maximum impact. The discussion will be followed by drinks and networking when you will be able to buy copies of Making Research Matter (Policy Press). We encourage audience members to wear a mask whilst seated, unless exempt, and spares will be available at registration. Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will be available.
