A 1-day conference on children and adults with sensory differences being co hosted by the Autism and Social Communication Team (West Sussex) and the University of Sussex with support from the Europeon Research Council

Talks on hyper-sensitivity (to sound, light, smell etc), bodily sensitivity (anxiety & heartbeat), autism, & synaesthesia (a ‘merging of the senses’) Including the experiences of people with autism or synaesthesia, and what helps them

Speakers:

  • From the Universities of Glasgow, Nottingham, Sussex; Prof David Baguley, Prof Sarah Garfinkel, Dr James Hughes, Dr David Simmons, Prof Julia Simner and Prof Jamie Ward
