<h3>🎶 JOIN THE BIG MALARKEY CHOIR! 🎶</h3> She Productions Theatre Company, known for their sell-out family musicals, community outreach work, and main stage productions across Hull and East Yorkshire, is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for young performers aged 10–13 years to be part of something very special!Under the expert guidance of Musical Director Natalie Walker and the talented She Productions Team, we're forming an exclusive choir of up to 20 young voices to create and perform an original musical theatre/pop song at The Big Malarkey Festival. WHAT YOU'LL DO:<ul><li>Work with professional actors, musicians, and choreographers to produce, perform and record your own original song based on the theme of Discovery</li><li>Learn performance techniques from industry professionals, including integrated Makaton</li><li>Make new friends who share your passion for music and performance</li><li>Perform LIVE on stage at The Big Malarkey Festival on Sunday 29 June at 12:30pm</li><li>Record your song</li></ul> IMPORTANT INFORMATION:<ul><li>Open to children aged 10–13 years</li><li>Limited to just 20 participants</li><li>FREE to participate</li><li>Participants MUST be available for ALL rehearsals and performance dates</li></ul> 🗓 REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:Weekend Rehearsals at East Park Library:<ul><li>Sunday 15th June – 10:00am–1:00pm</li><li>Sunday 22nd June – 10:00am–1:00pm</li></ul>Evening Rehearsals at The Big Malarkey Festival site:<ul><li>Monday 23rd June – 3:45pm–5:45pm</li><li>Tuesday 24th June – 3:45pm–5:45pm</li></ul> 🎤 PERFORMANCE DATE:<ul><li>Sunday 29th June (PM) – Live performance at The Big Malarkey Festival </li></ul>🗣 On the day: Participants will meet for a final warm-up and rehearsal. This will either be held at East Park Library or in a designated space at the festival site. Final details to be confirmed. 🎧 RECORDING SESSION:<ul><li>A professional recording session will take place after the festival on Sunday 6 July.</li></ul> 📋 HOW TO APPLY:Space is strictly limited and full commitment is required. Participants must be available for all rehearsals and the performance. 📅 APPLICATION DEADLINE:Thursday 12 June at 5pm Don’t miss this unique opportunity to work with industry professionals, create original music, and perform at Hull’s premier children’s literature festival!
