Are you passionate about AWS and want to connect with other AWS enthusiasts in Prague? If so, you are invited to join us for an in-person AWS community event on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 at 17:30 PM at the ACTUM Digital office in Prague.This event is a great opportunity to learn from other AWS professionals, share your experiences and challenges, and network with like-minded people. You will also get to hear two interesting presentations of real-world use cases of AWS services and solutions:1. Oleksii Ivanchenko (AWS): Multi-region architectures - approaches, challenges, disaster recovery strategiesThe first topic of the evening will be held by Oleksii and he will talk about multi-regional architectures. Why are they needed, and is multi-region architecture always the right one for your application? What are the alternatives? You will be able to see different approaches to building multi-region architectures. We will also talk about their fault tolerance and disaster recovery strategies.2. Mikhail Chumakov (ACTUM Digital): Building resilient and disaster recovery ready infrastructure for Amazon OpenSearch + Lambda + Amazon API Gateway service stackDuring this presentation Mikhail will talk about caveats and problems we met during the implementation of multi-regional DR for our infrastructure. We will show how to build up and roll out multi-regional DR-ready infrastructure with AWS CDK and will cover key aspects of that from the perspective different components of our infrastructure, such as: AWS OpenSearch service, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53.After the presentations, there will be time for networking with other AWS enthusiasts. And there will be some snacks and beer as well!This event is free and open to Solution architects and Tech Leads, and other AWS professionals.
