MANCHESTER CHOREOLAB 2017 - SESSION PASS

Manchester Dance Consortium is an artist led organisation formally established in 2011. The Consortium’s work is focused upon supporting opportunities for dancers and facilitating news ways for audiences to engage with dance.The Consortium is managed by a Strategy Committee comprised of Dee Reynolds, Joseph Lau and Tamsin Drury. We also regularly consult with our working party which is made up of representatives from arts organisations, independent artists and audience members.Manchester Dance Consortium values the support of partners CONTACT, DANCE MANCHESTER & SUSTAINED THEATRE UP NORTH in realising Manchester Chorelab 2017.Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Manchester Dance Consortium

Manchester Choreolab 2017 is for emerging & professional artists (18yrs+) with dance/ movement backgrounds and artists interested in choreographic questions. 
Along with dance artists of diverse styles and practice, Manchester Dance Consortium actively encourages artists with a range of practice to come and join us to enrich your process, enliven thought & exchange with others. You might be an actor, a composer, a live artist or a filmmaker interested in choreographic process & outcomes: there will be something is our programme for you.
Our programme includes:

<LI>led classes & workshops, </LI>
<LI>opportunities to bring forward & explore your own questions,</LI>
<LI>facilitated conversations on topics of why, how and the contexts within which we make, and </LI>
<LI>moments of exchange and being mentored.</LI>
</UL>
There will be a range of passes you can purchase including: WEEK, DAY, WORKSHOP SERIES & SINGLE SESSIONS.
