Join us for a friendly and interactive Walking Workshop - encourage your friends, family, colleagues or local community to walk more!

National Cycling Centre

Walking is an amazing activity which helps improve physical and mental health and connects us better to our local area. Join us at MCRactive to find out more:•	The many benefits of walking•	Possible barriers to walking and how to address them•	How to get started in setting up walks and inspiring others•	Manchester walking resources•	Ideas for making your walks fun and creative!•	Share your ideas and learn from othersJoin us for an optional short walk at the end. This workshop is aimed at organisations and individuals wanting to develop walking within the Manchester local authority area. Please note this is not official walk leader training. We look forward to seeing you there!If you have any questions please contact l.kinrade@mcractive.comVenue - there is a tram stop (velopark) outside the National Cycling Centre - with easy access from the city centre. If you are cycling, please bring your bike into the centre and ask about storage at reception. There is a car park at the centre.
