Main Workshop - Motors
Learn the basics of Raspberry Pi robotics. Having a go at controlling motors using the Raspberry Pi's GPIO and the Python GPIO library. This is an introductory workshop suitable for all attendees.
Second Workshop - ARM Assembly 2
Continuing on from our last Jam, where we created a "Hello, World!" program in ARM assembly, we will look at how to create the standard conditional statements and loops in assembly, and create various programs using them. You need to have attended the previous ARM workshop to participate in this one.
The event starts at 10:30am.
- 10:00 - Doors open
- 11:00 - Main workshop (~2 Hours)
- 13:30 - Lunch
- 14:30 - Second workshop
- 17:00 - Event ends
What you'll need to bring
All equipment is provided for the Workshops.
For the main room, we have a limited number of Pis available, so please bring your Pi and its power supply if you have one. (The Pi uses a USB phone charger, so it's useful to bring one even if you wish to borrow a Pi)
We have plenty of monitors, keyboards and mice, so you don't need to bring these
Food and drinks are provided throughout the day
