Manga Comic Book Workshop
Inspired by Beneath the Great Wave, create your own manga comic book using traditional skills for 16-18 year-olds.
Working with undergraduate digital artists from Manchester Metropolitan University’s SODA (School of Digital Arts) through 4 progressive workshops you will:
- · Find out about Japanese art and how it has influenced Manga
- · Create an interesting storyline/storyboard
- · Develop manga characters using different styles
- · Design background scenery
- · Explore how to create movement in your drawings
- · Be introduced to manga drawing software and digital courses at university
Sessions are for 16-18 year-olds.
