Can I try pieces on?

Yes absolutely.  In the studio there are a range of samples available to try on, but please note that we may not have every style/size in stock on the day. See our standard size chart online (https://www.manimekala.com/pages/size-guide) and we can also customise to your measurements.

Question 2

Can I bring a friend/partner/child with me?

Accepted Answer

Please feel free to bring friends/partners/children (we will be happy to entertain them while you shop!), however we ask that you please don't bring dogs or other pets.

Question 3

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately not. The studio is on the 1st floor and can only be accessed via stairs. To discuss alternative arrangements, please email info@manimekala.com.

Question 4

How does customisation work?

Accepted Answer

Founder Mekala will be in the studio to advise and discuss any customisation questions with you, including taking measurements if needed.

Question 5

Can I buy a piece on the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can buy any in stock/ready to ship pieces and take them home with you on the day, or you can buy a made-to-order style which we will then make and ship to you, which typically takes 2 weeks. We accept payment via cash or card.

Question 6

Do I need a ticket?

Accepted Answer

If you're planning to come, please book a free ticket so we know how many people to expect. However you are also very welcome to just drop in on the day!

Question 7

I can't make this date, can I come another time?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We hold regular open studio days on the last weekend of the month, or if you'd prefer a one-to-one appointment, just email info@manimekala.com to arrange a convenient time. If you booked a ticket but can no longer come, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite to free a space for someone else.
