Here at Think Create Learn we believe the best way to learn is through hands-on activity.  All our courses and workshops are based around a project in which students learn new skills and knowledge by making something.Our focus is to help enthusiastic students fuel their interest through exciting projects and to provide support from a teacher with a real passion for the subject.

Create interactive maps using coding with Javascript

It's so easy to view detailed maps of any location in the world on the internet. But wouldn't it be nice to make your own versions of these maps, with your own points of interest highlighted? Learn how to pinpoint locations and routes and add personalised interactions to your maps!As an added bonus, the best maps created on the day will win a <a href="https://microbit.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BBC Microbit</a>!For ages 10-14 yearsYou will need:A computer (Windows, Mac or Linux, but not an iPad or other tablet) with internet access.Your experience: The participants should have some experience of coding with any text-based language (e.g. Python or Javascript).Note: This is an online event, delivered through Zoom.Places are limited. To ensure a fair opportunity for all, please only sign up for this event if you are sure you are able to attend on the day. This session is kindly sponsored by Ealing Libraries.
