Mapping with DigiMap

DH@Manchesterbrings together experts from the humanities and computer science with computational partners from across the University, including IT Services, Research IT, the University of Manchester Library, the John Rylands Research Institute,Methods@Manchester, and Manchester University Press.

This workshop will showcase DigiMap and demonstrate how it can be used in the context of teaching and research. Emphasis will be placed on geospatial data literacy skills, which are valuable for both research and future employment. 
There will be a presentation with examples of how to use the DigiMap service and another on the value of geospatial data skills, after which there will be an opportunity for participants to ask practical questions about their own topics.
