* English Belowخرائط لأجل سورياهو مشروع لرسم خرائط عمرانية للمدن السورية اعتماداً على صور الأقمار الصناعية المتاحة، باستخدام منصات تخطيط مفتوحة. يعطي المشروع الأولوية للمناطق التي وقعت تحت رحمة القوانين التي تصادر ملكيات العقارات والأراضي، خصوصاً ما تهدم منها، سعياً لإثبات ملكيتها والحفاظ على أحقية أصحابها الأصليين فيها. سيتم تنفيذ هذا المشروع من خلال عدة مابثونات تعتمد بشكل أساسي على مشاركة متطوعين و متطوعات في عملية التخطيط.هذا المابثون يمثل خطوة أولية في هذا المشروع وهو مفتوح للمهتمين/ات بالتدخل الحقوقي والإنساني و إعادة الإعمار في مناطق النزاع، يسعى هذا المابثون لإشراك الأفراد بخلفياتهم/ن المتعددة بعملية تخطيط جماعية لمدينة( داريا) المتضررة. تبدو العملية معقدة؟ على الإطلاق! كل ما عليكَِ فعله هو إحضار كمبيوتركَِ الشخصي مع الماوس إلى المابثون، حيث سيتم شرح العملية أولا مع إعطاء لمحة عن المشروع ودور منصات التخطيط المفتوحة في التدخل الإغاثي و حماية حقوق الإنسان في المناطق المتضررة من النزاع. ماذا بعد؟ ادخل/ي المنصة و ابدأ/ئي استكشاف الخريطة و تحديد ما وجدتَِهُِ من منازل وأبنية هذا المابثون، عدا عن كونه وسيلة للتدخل وحماية حقوق الأفراد في سوريا ممتلكاتهم، هو أيضا مساحة آمنة و حميمية لنتعرف على بعضنا البعض و نستكشف سوية ما تكشفه لنا الخرائط عن مناطق متعددة في سوريا و إمكانية رسمها مجددا للجميع .سيتم تقديم بعض المأكولات والمشروبات الخفيفة Maps for Syria: MapathonMaps for Syria is a working title for a multi-stage project that seeks to draw maps for urban cities and areas across Syria based on Satellite images available through open mapping platforms. The priority is given to areas which fall under laws and decrees that legalise the confiscation of properties owned by Syrian citizens who fail to claim it, giving the priority to the destroyed properties a result of the conflict. The project will be carried out through multiple mapathons adopting a bottom-up approach which depends on the the participation of volunteers (Syrians and none-Syrians) in the mapping process. Open to those interested in conflict intervention and reconstruction, the mapathon will try to bring people together through a collective activity of mapping one of the Syrian cities (Daraya) affected by the conflict. Sounds complicated? Not at all!Al what you have to do is to bring along your laptop and mouse to the mapathon where you will be guided through the process of mapping, and given a summary about our project as a whole. Also, the role of open maps platforms in humanitarian intervention and human rights protection in conflict areas. What next?You will access the platform and start mapping the buildings you can see on the map.Other than being a tool for intervention and protecting property rights for Syrians, this mapathon will be a safe and friendly space where we can get to know each other and explore together what can maps reveal about different areas in Syria and how can they be put on the map for all Syrians. Refreshments will be provided
