EDIT: Early bird tickets sold out in eleven minutes. Woah. Sorry to those of you who missed out! But join the waitlist and keep your Thursday night free anyway because we're expecting to get some tickets back from sponsors. If that doesn't work out for you we'll be selling tickets on the door from 10PM -- there's always space after people leave to go to other engagements. Plan accordingly and we'll see you there.
You can still grab one of our sponsor packages, too -- they're $250 and come with five tickets AND a song written just for you about a subject of your choice. We're pretty sure you can expense that as "misc. marketing / viral".

Hello. You can read this if you want to, but you’re committed by now, so it makes little difference. 
Marioke – UK-based radio show One Life Left’s videogame themed karaoke nights – is returning to San Francisco on Thursday March 2nd to round off GDC in style. Sure, it’s the night before the final day, so you will need to fill your schedule with fake meetings or hope that the GDC Vault uploads some of the Friday morning talks quickly so you can pretend to your boss that you weren’t out until 2am knocking out versions of I Think We’re Alone Now (about certain mobile phone games that borrow a little too much inspiration from others*), Hey Ya** (with very specific detail about the history of Service Games***) or any of the 360-odd classic karaoke tunes where the lyrics have been changed to be about videogames, not love or driving cars or whatever issues songs tackle these days.
Of course, if you’re stage-shy, you can enjoy the atmosphere from the floor, cheering your friends and colleagues on from the comfort of the crowd.

Where: Encore Karaoke bar, 1550 California St # 2, San Francisco, CA 94109, USA
When: Thursday, 2nd March, 8:00pm – 2:00am (when we’ll all head straight to Gamestop to buy Nintendo Switches). 
 
TICKET DETAILS
24th January:
90 Early Bird tickets ($20) will go on sale. Please note: your ticket guarantees you entry before 10:00pm, after which we will be accepting door sales, if capacity allows. If you arrive after 10.00pm, you may need to wait for admittance. 
5 Sponsors’ Packages ($250) – these entitle you to five Marioke tickets, credits on the night plus a song we will write *specifically* for you. Please note these are not available to companies called Orange, for obvious reasons. 
Once this initial batch are sold out, you will be able to add your name to the waitlist. We will put any additional tickets on sale before the event.
